True TV is currently developing:

A story on Kenyan Politics for a BBC documentary with local producer Judy Kibinge in Nairobi.

True TV is co-producing:

Oompie Ka Doompie – a co-production with Scottish company Ham and Enos initially for Cinema screenings. It is a 15 min animation documentary funded by Scottish Screen, Glasgow Film Office and Scottish Arts Council. Animation workshops funded by Renfrewshire Council.

BAFTA award winning Mandy MacIntosh - a Scottish animator and film-maker reflects on her childhood experience of South Africa as an immigrant Scots family during the apartheid years. Mandy MacIntosh, Director/Producer Barbara Orton, Exec Producer.

Stranger in the Bedroom - The Somos of Zanzibar(wt)
52minute doc, developing through the Media Plus programme and DYFID.
Synopsis: The secret fraternity of older Moslem women in Zanzibar who give pithy advice to women about to be married there. Developed through the Media Plus Programme and Eurodoc European training scheme. Co-production partner Lichtblick Film, Germany.
